Meadows and foothills turn green, fruit trees burst into blossom, and snow still crowns the higher peaks. The return of migratory birds adds movement and sound to the landscape, making this a lively and colourful time to visit! This season is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking and village walks. Traditional Kupkari and milliy kurash (national wrestling) games are often held, and in May local communities begin silk production, giving visitors a rare glimpse into regional traditions. Climate: Daytime temperatures usually range between 20 and 30°C. Spring brings the highest rainfall of the year, supporting fertile fields and fresh pastures. ⛱️😎Summer: Harvest and Mountain Retreats (June–August) Summer showcases the region’s agricultural wealth. Villages are filled with ripening apricots, mulberries, cherries, grapes, and apples. While the plains can be warm, the mountains provide cool resting places, with walnut trees, flowing streams, and shaded gardens offering relief from the heat. Visitors can enjoy the relaxed pace of village life, often accompanied by a refreshing glass of ayran, a traditional yoghurt drink. Climate: Average temperatures remain around 30°C, with very little rainfall. Travel during autumn offers a balance of pleasant weather, cultural experiences, and scenic beauty. Climate: Temperatures typically stay between 18 and 20°C, with light rainfall. Some guesthouses remain open throughout winter, especially those equipped with heating and traditional hammams, offering a cosy stay despite the cold.
